I am a military newlywed who got married in Dec after having dated my AF college sweetheart for a little over 3yrs. Right now I am a stay at home wife with two dogs to complete our family. We are stationed on our first base close to family and now expecting baby #1!!!
I can share and relate to both the enlisted and officer point of view since my husband was enlisted first and now is an officer; also his brother is enlisted and just got married too! His family is very interesting, from very different walks of life since they have been in military and mine is just like a common life...in one city your whole life with the same people. It's actually pretty cool to go from one lifestyle to the other. Sometimes it's amazing and sometimes you miss your old life but it's all in the name of love and I wouldn't trade my life and little family for anything.
